I have a walker that the VA gave to me, but with the wheels wearing out and I need to get relpacement wheels and have the breaks adjusted. The VA does not take repairs on walkers nor do we have turn the walkers to the VA. Do you help peoples with repairs?
There is a couple of ways you can handle this. We will be glad to take a look at your walker and if the wheels and brakes need to be replaced then we can bill medicare for the wheels with a prescription. The other way is if you get a prescription for a new rollator from your doctor we can go thru Medicare to get you a new one if the one you currently have came from the VA. 1st we need a presrciption from your DR that is treating your daibeties,
then we have to send forms to dr and medicaid for prior authization 2-3 weeks
then we would call you in to be measured and choose your style and order your shoes 1 week
then call you to come pick them up
